Sebastopol Artist Decides to be Powerseller on eBay I have been really enjoying selling clothes on eBay in the last few months. The story starts with my fondness for colors textures, tastes, materials, etc. I have always liked picking out different items to make up a whole. It started with cooking vegetarian gourmet foods. Putting together tons of recipes, making foods from scratch, like grinding whole grains for sourdough bread, cooking pots of beans, lentil loaves -- you name it, any Country -- and I will make it. Then I moved on to gardening. If it can grow and you can eat it, I have planted it. This is another obsession and joy of mine. Then came home decorating, and then becoming an artist -- by happy accident, really. That turned to enthusiasm for decorating up my vacation rental, and adding my art for guests to enjoy. It turns out my youngest daughter decided to return home and so I had to give up the vacation rental business. This leads to the eBay part of the story. I have been enjoying buying on eBay for years. I watched and slowing began seeing how it all worked and finally decided if I could get my art onto eBay that would be a fantastic way to let the public see my art, talk to other artists and sell my inventory that I have been collecting from doing art exhibits, and even displaying and being part of a couple local galleries. I have started by selling new and just like new clothes, which I really love because I combine different outfits I think people will enjoy let them know what items they might like to wear with it to jazz it up, etc. I am having a hard time tearing myself away from this to work on my art which is my true passion. I have built up a huge inventory of beautiful clothes that I can combine. I am adding jewelry soon to the outfits for the complete package. I will soon begin adding my art to the site -- and I do have a lot of exciting and exotic pieces which I think my customers will enjoy seeing and shopping for. My goal is to become a Powerseller and to keep having the passion and fun with everything that I am involved in.
