Welcome to my world of Shabby Cottage Chic decor for your home! I truly appreciate your stopping by to read a little about me.  But really not much to tell tho..

 My name is Kris and I love to take anything old and give it a new life and recreate it to adorn your home in this casual style of decor where a blending of the old with new brings the Shabby Chic style of decor to life..   I am always on the lookout for that  vintage find that needs a little tender care.  And like most Shabby Chic sellers here on Ebay, we truly love the hunt in the flea markets,antique shops, estate sales and the summer time yard sales, where that special treasure is just waiting for us to find it..

My husband Ron,  and I along with our silly golden retriever named "Sammy"  live in a small rural town in southeast Iowa.  We have 2 grown sons, and no grandchildren yet, and I am still waiting for that happy day when one of them tells me I am going to be a "GRANDMA". Can't wait for that day to arrive..

I have  a passion for gardening and working outside in my yard with my flowers, and silly Sammy at my side.   I also think  that the outside should be brought inside so that we here in the cold winter months could enjoy it all year round..  So I guess thats where my love for the Shabby style of decor comes in..   So now you know a little about me, and as I mentioned before not really much to tell.. We live a very quite and non eventful life here in our corner of southeast Iowa..

 Thought I would add a few more pictures of  some of my flowers that are currently blooming.. Now that spring has sprung and we have had a tremendous amount of rain  my flowers are blooming like crazy, not to mention the weeds too!!  (Dog gone it) So if you like plants and flowers like I do, you will enjoy the pics...
