Welcome to My "About Me" Page!

Down the Yellow Brick Road to the LAND OF OZ FABRIC TREASURES! We are here in Salina, Kansas - the Heartland of America - Land of Oz!

We’re off to see the Wizard – the Wonderful Wizard of Oz!! The Wizard is here – “Just because of the wonderful things he does!”

We try to have fun here at our Magical Land of Oz Fabric Shop. Of course, a principal member of our Fabric Selection Decision Maker is “Dorothy”. …. But, let’s not forget our other faithful staff.

We have our Straw Man – saying “Life would be a Dingleberry if I only had a brain. But, we let him think that he does – and call him the “Straw Boss”.

We also have our Tin Man – Always saying “If I only had a Heart”. We re-assure him that he does have a heart with the heartfelt compassion in the art of designing exciting, new fabric square sets.

Then there is our Cowardly Lion – complaining that he’d be a King – if he only had the Nerve. Well, we encourage him to be Brave and come up with new ideas for Boldness in many of our sets!

And of course there is the “Munchkins” singing in the background at our shop – with “Toto” giving a bark or two of encouragement. The Wicked Witch is gone – But, Glinda, the good witch stops by frequently with her magic!

Then there is “Ruth” in the background. Where did she come in the picture??? I guess she oversees the Designing, Pressing, Cutting, Packaging, Shipping and the Fun Activities – making sure that the fabric squares are cut to perfection for the great, creative buyers out there.

But, she’s just a background figure – Why don’t you try out some of these squares, panels and fabric to see if our Land of Oz Fabric Shop “Personnel” has achieved the desired perfection for “Fabric Squares for the Quilters that Care”.
