2008...We have a slew of miniatures listed in our Store. We list many auctions weekly.

We mainly deal in Star Wars miniatures. We do have a lot of the small Red and Blue miniature Holographs from the Star Wars Saga line of action figures in our Sandcrawler. They are listed in our Store. There will be auctions for the whole set of 12 also in both Red and Blue from time to time.

Shipping: We ship the same day or next day (24 to 48 hours) after your payment is received. All packages have Delivery Confirmation on them which is included in the shipping price. All buyers will receive a detailed Shipping Confirmation email. The only exception to a shipment not having Delivery Confirmation are the Jedi Knights Trading Cards and Star Wars Miniature Stat Cards. We ship those regular U.S. Letter Mail. The shipping charge for all Star Wars Miniatures is $2.00 for First Class Mail + Delivery Confirmation which is included in the $2.00. Compare the shipping costs for Star Wars Miniatures from other sellers to ours. If a mini has a higher price for shipping, it is due to the fact that it is one of the larger mini's which has a shipping charge is $3.50.

Therefore, if you bought a bunch of minis, you will be charged the highest shipping rate of one + an additional 0.25 cents for each additional mini. An example of this would be a Star Wars Universe Bantha whose shipping is $3.50 due to the weight factor involved + 0.25 for additional minis and action figures. If the parcel weighs over 13 ounces such as two (2) Force Unleashed Tie Crawlers or one (1) Clone Strike Hailfire Droid & one (1) Bounty Hunters Homing Spider Droid, your parcel will be shipped Priority Mail.

Your Shipping Address: It is your responsibility as the buyer to update your shipping address in both ebay and Paypal. We will not be held responsible if you move and do not change it. Therefore, if we ship out your item, it is your responsibility to communicate with your U.S.P.S. delivery person. If a item is sent back to us since you have moved or your shipping address is not up to date, it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all of the shipping fees for a reshipment.

Shipping Materials: All profit from any shipping is thrown back into the pot to purchase more packing materials and to also ensure proper protection of your shipment. If one takes a close look at the shipping price for one miniature when you receive your parcel, we charge $2.00 but the actual postage is $2.05. We are trying our best to not over charge and/or pad our shipping fees. It takes time to go to the local U.S.P.S. Gasoline here in Hawaii is $4.00 a gallon. That is something to take into consideration in regards to us having to go to the USPS all most daily. We do not charge handling and do combine shipments.

APO Attention all ebayers who have an APO (Army Post Office) and/or military address overseas. Effective immediately, insurance is now mandatory on any and/or all items purchased from us. We found out at our local U.S.P.S. that the Delivery Confirmation can only be traced to the last United States Post Office prior to the shipment going to your APO where it cannot be traced or delivery confirmed. Insurance is protection for both you (Buyer) and us (Seller).

Our Store Policy in regards to bidding and "Buy it Now!" options for landofthejawas:

Payment Time Period: Once you have won an auction, whether you were bidding, have utilized the BIN (Buy it Now) or made a "Best Offer" which we accepted, you have three to five (3 to 5) days to pay for the item as stated on the description of the listing. If you decide to bid on an item on or after the 5th day that the payment is due, this is fine with us. You are still responsible for paying for the first item prior to or on the 5th and final day that it is due by Midnight Pacific Time Zone (set to ebay's clock in San Jose, California, U.S.A.) including the shipping rate of that item. If you win a auction, we of landofthejawas will gladly combine shipping. We will send you a new invoice with the shipping charge adjusted to save you cash. Effective immediately, those who have not paid in the specified time period indicated above will be added to our Blocked Bidders List. We had an ebayer who bought items and did not pay. We received several emails for the same items that were purchased but not paid for. What we are aiming at is that the items not paid for by the ebayer could have been sold to other ebayers/collectors who wanted them!

Example: Ebay Member X conducts a BIN for a $5.00 item with a shipping fee of $2.00. Total is $7.00. We invoice, he or she pays. Ebay Member X decides to bid on something that he or she likes. Ebay Member X wins the auction for a total of $2.00. We send a new invoice for the amount of the win which in this case would be $2.00 + 0.75 cents for shipping. Grand Total of $2.75 and item will be shipped with BIN item mentioned above together. Usually, the additional items fee is 0.75 cents for a miniature or a action figure. If the item is a larger item, the additional shipping fee (subject to change per amount of weight) will vary depending on the item.

Auction perpetuating or auction perpetuators will not be tolerated. This is the individual who utilizes BIN, does not pay, then has the nerve to go ahead and bid on a auction. They also send a email saying that they will pay but are bidding on another item at this time. We do not condone this type of behavior. Once you do not email us with the intent to communicate the fact that you are going to pay and after we of landofthejawas have emailed you, sent an invoice or sent a message in a coconut floating on the ocean from Oahu, Hawaii to the mainland (Continental United States of America), we will file a unpaid item strike. The item will be sold or re listed. Furthermore, you will be banned from purchasing items from landofthejawas. Banishment is not a good thing!

Unpaid Item Strike: Why did you file a Unpaid item strike on me? First of all, after we have exhausted all efforts to contact you to pay for a item, we will file a Unpaid Item Strike. You are added to our Blocked Bidder List so that you cannot conduct transactions with us. If you can't pay for one item, why should we let you bid or buy for more items? As soon as a auction ends, we send a invoice. You have 3 to 5 days to pay for your item(s). We send a Payment Reminder after the 5th day. If we do not receive payment, we file a Unpaid Item Strike. We have the option of reselling the item if we choose to. Consider a Unpaid Item Strike as a reminder via ebay for you to pay. We do not like to leave negative feedback since we believe that all it does is tarnish a reputation of a members feedback profile on ebay. We of landofthejawas do not believe in using negative feedback and/or implying that we will leave negative feedback as a form of coercion whatsoever. Ebays new policy is that sellers cannot leave negative feedback anymore so this is a moot point. If you notice in all of our listings, we do not state that if you do not pay, we will do negative things to you, etc..

Combined Shipping: The maximum amount of time for all ebayers to purchase additional items for "COMBINED SHIPPING" is 7 DAYS after the last auction win. One week. We do not have exceptions to this rule. An example of this is if you were to win an auction that ended on the 1st of April, you have seven (7) days in which you may feel free to shop in our store. Whatever is purchased in that seven day period is eligible for "combined shipping!" If you are bidding on items that end in another week, that item(s) will be charged for separately and shipped separately. The maximum amount of time that we will hold a shipment and ship it out to you is 7 days. If you buy more items the next week, those items will be combined and charged as a separate order.

Payments: All payments are due in Three (3) to Five (5) days regardless of the days stated in the listing. We had one fellow tell us that he pays on Fridays. Now, how in the world are we supposed to know that? We are not mind readers nor do we have Jedi powers. If one does not pay within the above mentioned time period, we will file a UPI (Unpaid Item Strike) on the item. You will be added to our Blocked Bidders List immediately. Furthermore, you are banned from bidding or conducting business with us.

Any pending e-checks or pending Paypal payments must clear first before we ship out to you. We use to ship before they cleared but after someone canceled a payment, we now wait until payment clears. It always takes one rotten apple to spoil the bunch!

Insurance is the responsibility of the winning bidder of an auction and/or if you conduct a "Buy It Now!" We are not responsible for items lost, stolen, signed for by other parties, etc.. once they are shipped via USPS. We had one transaction where it took 33 days for the shipment to be delivered via Priority Mail! The head jawa in charge of shipping argued with the postal clerk at our local USPS, she stated that they (USPS) will only refund the shipping charge for Express Mail services.

At this time, 4% sales tax is applicable on all items for the state of Hawaii only regardless of whether it is stated on the listings or not.

We do have a GENERAL EXCISE TAX LICENSE for the state of Hawaii which covers all of the islands of Hawaii.

INTERNATIONAL EBAYERS: One must reside physically in the continental United States of America in order to bid on our items at landofthejawas or utilize the "Buy it now!" option! If we see that you are registered in the U.S.A. and have a shipping address outside of the U.S.A. in a foreign country, we construe this as circumventing ebay's rules.

Pre-Approval International Requirements: If you are residing outside of the U.S.A. and are interested in our items, you must contact us. Once we see that you do not have recent negative feedback, unpaid item strikes, or bid retractions, we will consider conducting business with you. These are the rules established by our Council of Jawas. We have had success shipping to the following countries: Australia, Belgium, England, France, Gibraltar, Israel, Hungary & Spain. All of the International ebayers in which we dealt with were pre-approved prior to them conducting transactions with us. Please note that at this time we will not ship to Mexico or South America unless you as the buyer or winner of a auction pre-approved by us pays for the package to be insured which may cost $12.00 USD each package or more + Tracking which may or may not cost an additional $10.00 USD.

Buyer Block Exemption List: From time to time we update our list. If you conducted business with us before and find yourself blocked, simply email us via ebay. We will add you back on.

Feedback Policy: If you purchase, win more than one auction, we usually post positive feedback for one of the two items. If you were to win one item, we usually post positive feedback after you have left it for us which is a indicator that you are happy with our products and services. As of May 2008, any Neutral feedback counts as a negative feedback on any sellers feedback profile. a lot of Buyers are not even sure of ebay's new policy. After one year of a Neutral or Negative feedback left for a seller, it will not be counted. Supposedly the sellers score will raise back to 100% pending no more issues. In our SCE (Shipping Confirmation Email), we ask that you contact us prior to posting a feedback other than positive so we can proactively take care of the situation at hand if one were ever to arise.
