Hats for Cats - an alternative use for pasties (note satisfied expression)

I'm a Toronto-based costumer and actress (who did 32 different voices on the children's TV show "Mighty Machines"), with a passion for rhinestones, sequins, feathers and beads. Think of Bob Mackie, but on a (usually) much tighter budget.
I've just made an incredible costume for a Toronto burlesque performer. It's covered in over 40,000 Swarovski crystal rhinestones and 36 feet of 18-ply ostrich feather boa. It's taken me nearly 200 hours of work, and was NOT made on a tight budget!
Most of my eBay transactions have been with people in the USA, so I know all about the extra requirements for cross-border shipping. The main thing is, don't use FedEx or UPS to ship from the USA to Canada, because they charge obscenely high brokerage fees, and require the sender to complete heaps of official paperwork. But if you just ship something by mail (insured, of course), you only have to fill in one little form or label.
I got my only Negative feedback years ago, from a newbie who mis-typed my e-mail address when she was trying to contact me after the auction ended. The e-mail came back to her as "undeliverable"; she panicked, and instead of asking eBay for my contact info, she just left the Neg---ONE DAY after the auction ended!
