On the third of July in 1959, my mother gave my then new wife her recipe for barbeque sauce. Since then we have modified the sauce for todays health conscious public and started selling it in 1990. The fat has been omitted and salt kept to a minimum. Refined sugar was replaced with an all natural herb sweetener that has zero calories. Moreover, all of our sauces are low sodium, low calorie,  gluten and cholesterol free. Which is due to not using thickening agents such as gums, starches (gluten) and  artificial colors and flavors. Since no fat of any kind is used, there is no need to worry about (Trans Fats). Our sauces are very flavorful with fourteen (14) natural herbs and Spices and our own vegetarian sauce stock. A French chef wrote in a sauce book that i  read years ago is that a sauce is not complete without its sauce stock. I say (its) sauce stock because a stock should be formulated to match the spice mix of the sauce and the food it is to be used on. However, our P&S Sugar Free Original BBQ Sauce is mild enough for light foods such as salads and full bodied and flavorful enough for your hardiest meats such as beef and bison.
