Liberated Goods specializes in the reutilization of used clothing and equipment produced for the purpose of historical interpretation. Most of our inventory is purchased directly from individuals or organizations that are or have been involved in recreating historical events. The balance of our inventory represents products purchased from craftsman who can produce certain hand made items or vendors who posses certain durable antiques. We do not manufacture or represent any manufacturer of historical goods. Our inventory contains items from most historic periods. We do occasionally carry original items as they become available. We need to emphasize that we actively buy items from all periods. Numerous reenactors have experience in interpreting the lifestyles of individuals from many different centuries. As they upgrade or decide to specialize in one or two specific periods, the items used for their previous impressions become excess. As such, we attempt to reutilize these pieces by offering them to those looking to expand or improve their current impressions. Any item is suitable for consideration as even the most damaged pieces have an extended life as a display. Since almost our entire inventory is used, it is difficult to develop a catalog, as each piece would require extensive narrative to adequately address. As an alternative, it is probably best to inquire as to the availability of specific items, which would allow us to conduct a search for a suitable match. It is also usually better to e-mail or write since our availability is limited due to travel and other requirements.
