Our recipes are for informational use only.  You are responsible for testing, as well as all safety matters concerning the products you make. To ensure that your items are fresh, all of our handmade items should be used within 3 months of purchase with the exception of (cold process soap-the longer it cures the harder the bar, & lotions-contain anti-microbal that will prevent bacteria growth for up to 1 year from the date of purchase).  Bath Salt & Milk Bath Safety: Salt is a natural cleanser.   By adding salt to your bath, it increases blood circulation (since it increases circulation, if you have blood preassure concerns, health concerns, or if you are pregnant, we advise that you contact your physician before use), encouraging your lymphatic system to eliminate body toxins.  By triggering the body’s own oil secretion, bath salts naturally help to moisturize the skin.    Minerals that are absorbed by the skin.  Salt baths are wonderful treatments for a number of skin problems.  Salt helps exfoliate dandruff and dead skin cells.  Reduces inflammation,itching and pain.  Rejuvenates the skin cells. These qualities make it a common treatment for psoriasis, dermatitis, chronic eczema as well as arthritis. About our bath salts:  All salts are made fresh at the time of order.  We advise that they be used within 3 months.  Keep all bath salts out of direct sun or colors can fade.  Store in a cool dry area.  Because our salts are rolled in vegetable glycerin, it is recommended that they are not used in jacuzzi tubs.  Our hand & Body Lotion & Body Mist: Our lotions do NOT contain parabens.  The ingredients are:  Purified water, polysorbate 60(emulisfier), hydrogentated jojoba, stearate (binding agent), cetyl alcohol(thickening agent), ceteareth 20(emulsifier), hydragenated lanolin, castor oil, Shea Butter, fragrance & avocado oil & dmdm-h (antimicrobial). Our lotions are available with added fragrance oils or with pure essential oils. About our lotions & body mist:  Made fresh at the time of order.  They do contain a anti-microbial that prevents the growth of bacteria.  We recommend that the body mist & lotion is to be used within 1 year from the date of purchase.  Cold process soap:  The longer this soap cures, the harder the bars becomes.   Handmade soap should be kept in a well drained soap dish.  If it's left in standing water, it can become mushy.  Cold process soap contains naturally occuring glycerin.  Glycerin is a humectant-which means that it draws moisture from the air.  This moisture can bead up on the outside of your bar of soap.  This is a normal occurance with handmade soap.  Melt and pour soap:  Should be stored in a cool dry area.  Excessive heat can melt these soaps.  Exposure to direct sun can cause soap discoloration.  Soaps made with vanilla based fragrance oils can turn brown in color (this is very common with vanilla based oils).  Some of our vanilla based oils are:  Vanilla Sugar, Coconut Vanilla, Sugar Cookie & Vanilla Musk.  Melt and pour soaps also contain glycerin:  Glycerin is a humectant-which means that it draws moisture from the air.  This moisture can bead up on the outside of your bar of soap.  This is a normal occurance with handmade melt and pour soap.  Novelty soaps:  Some of our novelty soaps look& smell good enough to eat!!!  With this being said, all children should be supervised while using these soaps to make sure the soap does not end up in their mouths  ;O)  If you are reselling our novelty soaps, it is important to label them as "Soap" not edible.
