Welcome and thanks for stopping by! I started my interest in vintage and antique jewelry, china and more when my grandmother passed on many many years ago. I had a garage sale for many of her things, and one of them was a vintage Frederick's of Hollywood FUR bikini! (I know, I know, grandma was quite the siren in her day!) It didn't sell, but someone mentioned I should try selling it on ebay, so that was the first thing I ever sold on ebay - for a grand total of $17.00! Since then, I found it fun to research the boxes of STUFF my grandmother had - she was afflicted with obsessive/compulsive disorder, so she kept EVERYTHING. Over the years, my aunt and I have been going through many, many things from her estate that we have had in storage. I have found a lot of joy in keeping those things that I love, but even more enjoyable has been the experience of getting things to the people who appreciate them. That's what the ebay experience has been for me. I love it when someone writes to me and tells me they adore the item they won - it makes me feel like the item from grandmother, or mother, or great grandmother (I have a lot of THEIR stuff, too!) has gotten into the right hands. I am also addicted to auctions and estates sales now, looking for things that I have grown to appreciate while researching my grannie's things - I offer these items up for auction too!
I live in Seattle, WA with my two cocker spaniels, and have met so many fabulous ebayers over the years. I hope to continue my "mission" of getting collectibles into the hands of people who love them! Thanks for making this a great load of fun for me! I always cheerfully accept returns - unlike other sellers who only accept returns if they have made a "gross misrepresentation" of their item, I feel if you're not happy with it, why make you keep it?
