Zach's Little Red Wagon Foundation Inc.
Here is a picture of me on the front of Weekly Reader last year doing my walk. This was one way that was really effected in educating other kids on the fun of volunteering and the tragic truth about homeless youth in this country.

My name is Zach and I am 10 years old. I founded the Little Red Wagon so I could help kids in distressed situations. Mother Terrisa  said if you can not feed 100 people then you should feed one. So that is what I try to do. I make backpacks with food packs, personal hygiene kits, 1st aid and sewing kits, boxers and a pair of socks and a small toy and a small bag of candy. I do these all the time and then I do other projects on the side. 

The current project I am working on besides backpacks is to raise awareness to the 1.3 million homeless kids in this country. Last year I walked from Tampa to Tallahassee this year I will be walking from Tallahassee to Atlanta. WHY?? First of all to raise awareness. People see me walking or hear about it and then wonder what I am doing. When they start asking questions they usually learn alot that they did not know about homeless kids. Like kids are not usually homeless by choice! 2nd of all...the money I raise during the walk and from the auctions will be used to help build a house for a family affected by Hurricane Katrina or Rita.
