When I was younger I never played with dolls, and as a teen I rarely did any babysitting. In fact, before I had children of my own, I never really gave babies a second glance. What did I know about baby gear? Well, I knew that babies needed nappies and that you probably needed something to push them around in, but that was about it. So when I found out that I was expecting for the first time, I knew that I had a lot to learn about in a short time. I read reviews about baby gear incessantly before the arrival of my first baby, and carefully bought all of the things I thought I needed.
Babies 1&2 (Leah and Madeline)
Several months into my crash course in parenting, I realized that there was an essential piece of baby gear that I was missing. I needed something that allowed me to make dinner, do the laundry, and clean the house while I was holding my baby. Traditional front pack baby carriers that I tried always seemed to take two people to put on and off, and the sheet that my husband tried to turn into a baby carrier didn't seem to work either. Eventually, baby one was joined by baby two and then baby three. Still I searched for that elusive piece of baby gear that allowed me to have my hands free and was easy to put on and off at the same time. This summer I found it! The "it" that I was searching for is a piece of gear called a Moby Wrap, and it is just what I had been looking for since the birth of my first child. The Moby Wrap is easy to put on and off, my son loves it, and it is one of the most beautiful slings or wraps on the market today. The first time I slipped my Moby Wrap on, I knew that I wanted to sell them. What a privilege to be able to make other parents' lives just a little bit easier!
