My Brother, Robbie T. Clark, and Me with Longhorn Leathers Custom Straps and 2 of the first Fender Custom Shop Strats ever made! The Gold Strat is serial #52. The Blue Strat is even earlier!
In the summer of 1993 I started my leather business on the outskirts of Austin, TX. I specialized in hand tooled, custom leather belts, guitar straps, and even made leather pickguards. My Custom Straps were available through several of Austin's better Music Stores, as well as by Special Order. I was a working musician, and playing on 6th St. in Austin, my band and I were my best advertisers! Before long I was taking Custom Orders from famous and aspiring Country, Rock, Blues, and even Flamenco guitarists (hello Teye) from Austin, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Japan, Belgium, London, and all over the world. Additionally, my belts were popular with the audiences at our Gigs.
Currently, my Longhorn-Leathers LLC Custom Shop products are available through my eBay auctions and on my web site www.longhorn-leathers.com where you can see lots of photos. More photos and info at www.myspace.com/longhornleathers My goal is to create, by hand, high quality leather products that my customers will be proud to own many years from now. What would your fantasy leather strap look like? What would be your perfect strap length? Lets work together to make it happen!

I have been buying and selling New, Used, and Vintage Musical Instruments since 1983. As a buyer for one of America's largest musical instrument retailers in the 1980s and 1990s my job was to fly all over the country to guitar shows, buying up the inventories of other dealers to stock our 20 store chain! What Fun! I've learned a lot about guitars over the past 25 years, but what is most important is what I've learned about people. I try to the best of my ability to accurately describe the items I sell, and I try to be fair in all of my dealings. I think about how I would feel if I were the buyer of my items, and I try to avoid any surprises!
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me!
