My name is Edith V. Eliason. I reside in Richlands, North Carolina with my husband and our two girls. For over 20 years I worked as an administrative assistant for various companies. After growing tired of the "Corporate Rat Race" I decided to change careers and become a writer. As a writer, I work from home, create my own schedule and have the time to spend with family and friends.
While researching subjects for my first book, I came across an incredibly complex issue: "Working from Home." During my research I realized most of the opportunities being offered were either scams, multi-level marketing opportunities, home business start ups and affiliate opportunities; all of which require a financial investment. Very few companies were actually hiring homeworkers.
I've spoken with many people who are frustrated because they want to work from home but are not interested in wasting their hard earned money. Most of these people have given up on their dream to work from home because they can't seem to find companies who hire homeworkers. They all knew these companies existed, they just could not find them.
Intrigued by this riddle, I decided I'd take the time to reasearch why no one seemed to be able to find companies that hire homeworkers. After years of research I was able to find out why...Companies that hire homeworkers do not advertise their openings. Anyone seeking this type of employment would have to know the company's name when searching the internet in order to find the company's website.
Frustrated with the outcome, I decided to write a book which helps connect homeworkers to the companies who hire homeworkers. Because I want to share this information with as many people as possible, I decided to sell my book at a price everyone can afford and in a manner that accessible to everyone with a computer.
