Our Club & Funds Use
Membership: Membership is open to all youths between the ages of nine (9) and nineteen (19) years of age.
Community Service projects: Though we participate in a variety of community services our two main projects are the Pumpkin Plant and Pumpkin Pick for This is a program where a local farm, in conjunction with the outreach program provide a free day of open house and farm fun and activities for handicapped children.
The Pumpkin Plant is in the spring for the children to come and plant their pumpkins and the Pumpkin Pick is in the fall when they come and pick their pumpkin.
Many activities are provided for the children during their day's visit. There is fishing in the pond, where yes, they get to catch real fish, face painting, hay and buggy rides, terrier races, and many more fun outdoor activities, to include our main part, the Pony and Horse Rides.
With the help of a local stable and their schooling horses we provide a safe and controlled environment for the kids to enjoy the wonders being able to ride a horse or pony.
Our Funds Use: Our Funds that our raised through our annual fun horse show, other fund raising projects such as Our Auction Here On Ebay and the occasional donations are used for our community services, such as the cost of logistics to provide the pony and horse rides for the Pumpkin Plant and Pumpkin Pick, Holiday Gift Giving Projects, such as participation in local "Angel Tree" and Christmas Stocking Programs, Thanksgiving Food Drives, and Church Clothing and Food Drives as well as to help with the expenses and cost of logistics for our members to attend 4H District and Sate shows. Which without, some of our members would not be able to afford to participate.
Your Help is Greatly Appreciate: Your Help in supporting us by participation in our auctions will help us to raise needed funds to continue with all our project. We thank you for your support.
