Lulu Baby Couture is my dream come true, as I grow everyday on this new business and opportunity to express my love for sewing while staying home with my kids.  It hasn’t been easy and I am caught up on my everyday expectations from being a staying home mom but I do escape my daily routine and enjoy myself in my studio. 

I am a mother of three children ranging from very different ages but all with the same love and passion towards their baby blankets.

I decided to embrace this new journey as I encountered the difficulty of finding a unique and charming blanket for my now 7 years old daughter after she had lost her first baby blanket.  I realized how much I enjoyed the look in her eyes when she touched her blanky, her face expression and her calming smile when she fast approached that piece of fabric.  I had the opportunity to discover that this blanket wasn’t just a piece fabric but a special and truly loved blanky.  That was when I understood the beautiful relationship of my daughter and her beloved blanky. 

When I thought, I might as well start making baby blankets since my heart is in it.  Not many people can say that they love what they do but I can definitely say that.  I love sewing and I enjoy even more seeing little ones hugging one of my precious creations.

Nowadays making these lovely gifts and sharing some of that comfortable feeling with other parents and little ones is my passion.

I hope you can enjoy my blankies as much as I enjoy making them.  Every blanket is unique in it’s own way and I feel blessed to be able to express my love through the art of sewing.
