I have multiple collections which include Lladro, Swarovski, Fitz and Floyd, Wallace Silver Ornaments, Ronson Silver Table Lighters, Nippon, Lenox, Franciscan Apple, Desert Rose, Meadow Rose, October, Johnson Brothers Summer Chintz and 1700 Department 56 pieces as a result I really enjoy buying on Ebay.    Second only to rescuing cats.  Our house is full of collections, Ebay stuff and 12 rescued cats.  In addition we maintain a feral colony of 5 cats.   Unfortunately cats and Department 56 are not compatible.   Since our house is busting at the seams it is time to sell some "stuff".  I'm ready to make the leap from buyer to seller. Our cats are not for sale.

Beyond collecting my hobbies include babysitting our great neice, sewing, gardening and  "weekend" warrior projects.  Since my retirement "weekend" has become everyday.  My retirement gift was a gold watch and a compound miter saw.  I use the saw.   I retired following 37 years of service as the President of a not for profit organization.  My honors include Rockland Community College, Leadership Award; New York State Senate, Woman of Distinction; Arthritis Foundation, Leaders Award; Girl Scouts, Community Leader Award; Asian Americans of Rockland, Humanitarian Award; NAACP, Outstanding Female Advocate; Rockland Business Association Woman of the Year; Home Aides of Rockland, Leaders Award; Volunteer Counseling Service, Top 25 Leaders Award and West Street Day Care Center, Woman of the Year.  I was honored to serve as a volunteer board member and officer of Rotary, Rockland Business Association, Leadership Rockland and the Hudson Valley Health Systems Agency.  My corporate board service included The Bank of New York Rockland Division.
