Weel, 'tis some Two Years now since I found eBay, and am happy to report that I be most pleased with the site, *vbs*... I have yet to enter the daunting realm o' 'Selling', but so enjoy the status o' 'Buyer'... {much to mine good husband's dismay}, *lol*
Alas, I be a Renaissance Faire enthusiast, and seem to possess a talent, {or so I be told, *lol*}, for writin' in a tortured version o' 'Ye Olde Englysh' that folk seem to enjoy; hence, the vernacular ye witness herein, *vbs*
Mine 'hobbies', if ye will, {besides 'Peace On Earth & Ren Faires', *lol*}, be Astrology, Tarot, all things Pagan~ {New Age, Qabalah, Alchemy, Wicca, Ascension, Shamanism, Tantra, etc. etc.}, Politics~ {Noam Chomsky, mine favourite author}, and Music~ {Loreena McKennit, most beloved songstress}, *vvvbs*
I wish to take this moment to Thank all o' the Sellers I have purchased from for their Offerings and Integrity, and to eBay itself for being on the Web, giving us 'Surfers' a lovely place to buy and sell---> Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!

WOW... Another year come and gone already!... Three years buying on eBay now... Where 'has' the time gone??? *lol*
Am glad to say the rennovations on my house are coming along nicely... except, o'course, taking twice as long to complete and costing twice as much than was anticipated, och!, *lol*... Alas, 'tis the way o' it, eh???
Have started avidly collecting Tarot cards... Have been reading the cards for some 16 years, but am now collecting for the artwork... So many decks, so little money! *lol*

'Tis that time again... update time, *lol*... Four years buying on eBay now, *vbs*
Weel, this lass has been avidly collecting Tarot and Oracle decks this past year, and is happy to report that her collection has grown from an initial few decks to a total of over 60 so far... and all of them beloved, *vbs*
I would like to take this opportunity to offer a few things I have learned regarding 'Tarot/Oracle Collecting' and pray you find it of some small benefit:
1) Do Your Homework: You see it, you love it, you want it now! *lol*... Save yourself the added humiliation of paying too much for a deck by taking a deep breath! and setting on a course of researching various websites, (such as: Aeclectic Tarot, Tarot Garden, Adam McLean's AlchemyWebsite, US Games, AGM Muller, Tarotpedia, Association for Tarot Studies, etc), regarding the deck you're interested in... As well, be sure to reference Stuart Kaplan's 4-Volume tome: 'Encylopedia of Tarot';
2) Don't Believe Everything You Hear: Just because an advertisement states 'OOP' (out-of-print), 'Rare', or 'Hard-to-Find', doesn't mean it's so... eBay and Amazon Sellers are notorious for making outrageous claims, and charging even more outrageous prices... 'Caveat Emptor' (Buyer Beware) is THE watch-word in Tarot Collecting-world...
3) Ask For Help/Information: Tarot folk are a lovely, and talkative, bunch... Their passion for collecting tarot is exactly paralleled by their passion for talking about tarot, *lol*... They are more than glad to share their knowledge and expertise, so, find the forums and ask away... I guarantee you will be embraced within the fold of tarot enthusiasm! (Aeclectic Tarot, Adam McLean's Tarot Collector's Forum, Tarot BB, Tarot Study forum, etc.)
Weel, here's to enjoying another year shopping on eBay and to 2008 in all it's glory, *vbs*
Fare thee well...
