WE WILL BE AWAY FROM THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH THRU THURSDAY AFTERNOON, SEPTEMBER 11TH (purchases made after September 1st will be shipped upon our return). DURING THIS TIME WE WILL HAVE INTERNET ACCESS IN CALIFORNIA TO SEND INVOICES AND ANSWER MESSAGES BUT MERCHANDISE CAN NOT BE SENT UNTIL AFTER WE HAVE RETURNED TO MAINE. HAVE TO VISIT THAT GRANDBABY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATRONAGE.

MAINE WOODS YARN & FIBER



We are fiber artists and live on a small 5 acre farm in the Maine Woods with our Angora rabbits, Dwarf Dairy Goats, Great Pyranees, Benson and  our cat, Penelope 

We farm organically and have a large herb garden.  We dry our herbs for teas,medicines.

The angora from our rabbits is used to make some of our handspun yarns.  Some of our fine sheep wool we purchase from local farms to aid in their support. All processing and dying of our fine yarns are done here on our farm as well as the handcrafting of our knitting needles, needle holders, yarn winders and other knitting related items. Winters are long here in Maine but spinning yarn in front of a cozy fire passes time pleasantly.
