Hello, Ebay Sellers and Buyers,
I "used to" be very active on ebay. I bought a lot of items and sold a lot of items.
I started initially with actual clothing patterns from the 1940's because Big Band was popular at the time. I made a number of 40's clothes from these patterns and then found 1930's patterns, 1920 patterns, and even earlier than the 20's.
Some of the things I noticed about those patterns were that sizes then were very different than sizes now. For example, a size 12 had a 32" bust size, 23" waist size, etc. Pattern directions were also very different but I was still able to follow them.
Then I got interested in 1980's Cabbage Patch dolls and Cabbage Patch clothing. I ended up collecting a couple of hundred, then decided to sell off some of them. I still have well over a hundred of my best CPK dolls and lots of clothes and shoes. I'll probably hang on to them for awhile because they're not selling well now and I still like the doll.
Then we moved to Hawaii so I lost all my Ebay identities and was never able to recover them. When I came back from Hawaii, I didn't resume my ebay activities because I would have had to start from scratch.
I want to start buying things again and maybe selling some things down the road so I'll probably be doing business with some of you at some point.
Look for me under "mallards1010". That name came from a boat we used to live on. We don't have the boat anymore but we have a cabin we named "Mallards Nest". We even have a wood carved mallard duck that we keep as a good luck charm.
