A BRIEF GETAWAY WITH THE FAMILY

| For beginners, I make no claim of "perfection". I am not faultless. I have been an e-Bay member, actively selling for EIGHT long years! I have operated a handfull of various accounts, sold thousands upon thousands of items, including a baseball bat that sold for nearly $15,000 with no issues. Oddly enough, most of my trouble has been with $5 items. I had maintained a 99% positive rating for the eight years leading up to the new feedback method with e-Bay. My feedback became obliterated to the point where it is now, with my last twenty listings or so; posted about a month ago. What happened with all of the delays in shipping, is quite simply this: Poor time management and wrong timing. I listed like twenty auctions and shortly after became promoted at my job to Organic Apple Orchard "Sprayer". While the auctions were ending, my wife was hard at work, taking care of children and attending trainings for a new career adventure, herself. She had no time to package merchandise and ship it out. While she was either at home with two young children, or putting many long hours in at her career; I happened to be putting in SIXTY or more hours at my new job. The hours demanded that I be at work anywhere from 12 midnight, 1 in the morning, 2 in the morning, 3 or 5 in the morning with my regular day shift on top of it; depending on the weather patterns in Maine. Basically, as the auctions were ending and packing/shipping was required; I happened to be on a tractor, spending time with my children, half awake; or sound asleep for one to four hours at a time. I just could not manage my auctions, like I should have and many people became very upset. I do not blame them at all; but I tend to believe that they thought that I was simply making excuses. My e-Bay messages began piling up, and I simply avoided the inevitable; knowing in my heart what each message was saying. They piled up to the point where I just began deleting them, while trying my best to package the items and make it to the post office. I recieved some BIG hits on my feedback. I recommend that you view my feedback as 99% and afford me the grace of understanding that roughly half of the 1% with concerns, were rather irrational. 0.05% had legitimate concerns and I assume full responsibility for those negative hits. I have never not shipped an item. I believe that I have always accurately described items. I have been lax in my shipping and will do everything possible to correct this flaw. PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE! I am an honest fellow, doing my best to supplement my families income. We do not make a lot of money at our jobs and try to do our best to make a little extra on e-Bay. I have shifted gears and am trying to do it for fun, instead of a business. I even opened an e-Bay selling outlet a couple of years back and had to close because I was too generous; at my families expense. Fortunately I bailed out with a $5000 deficit, that I am still paying off; half of which my former partner should be accountable for; but I was the only one with any credit to speak, so now I am paying interest on both of our losses. Anyhow........I could carry on and on. The ball is in your court. You make the call.
