This all began with my search for some kind of relief from the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis & Lupus, both considered autoimmune diseases. In line with my personal beliefs, I have forgone traditional medications, *for the most part*, and utilize various naturopathic & alternative treatments. The two that things I found to be the most helpful so far are acupuncture and magnetic therapy.

I began, as with most things, quite skeptical. However, after my own trial and error, I found that there is truth to claims that magnet therapy can be more than just helpful, with virtually no negative side effects.

The incidence and prevalence of autoimmune disease is rising. Collectively, autoimmune diseases are among the most prevalent of all diseases in the U.S., affecting between 15 and 24 million people — up to nearly 10 percent of the population. There are over 80 different types of autoimmune diseases. Diagnosing these conditions is a practice of patience and persistence. More often than not, these people search for answers for years before being given the correct diagnosis and treatment. Alternative treatments are being sought after more and more as we realize the benefits to be gained at little cost combined with the near non-existent side effect potential.
