Hi ! My name is Amy. I live in Vermont, up near the Canadian border. I was born and raised here. I am 36 yrs. old and a mother of 4. Two are my stepdaughters ages 20 and 17. I also have a 14 yr. old son and a 6 yr. old daughter (who thinks she is 16). I am also a firefighter and a First Responder on our home town fire/ rescue sqaud. My husband and I have been together for 12 years, but have been married only 2. We live in the country, in a small community. I was born and raised on a farm, then worked on another farm for almost 20 years, but that chapter of my life has closed now due to the family I worked for has sold their animals. So for now, I'm a stay at home mom.

I have many interests and hobbies. I like to go camping, boating, nature walks, horseback riding, snowmobile, 4-wheeling, traveling, and just about anything else that you can do outside. I also like to do gardening. This years garden is about an half an acre in size. I start all of my own plants and everything is organic. Everything I grow, I either can, freeze or dry. I also sell some of my veggies or give them away.
Some of my hobbies include knitting, cross stitch, cooking, baking, cake decorating, scrap booking, puzzles, reading, sewing projects, plastic canvas, and many other arts and crafts. I also like meeting new people on the internet and in person.
I would like to continue to be a stay at home mom and I'm seriously thinking about starting to sell things on ebay and make it a full time business. I know my family would love for me to be home all the time.
Another home based business I'm thinking about doing is selling candles. My mom is doing it and she is making a very good profit. Hey I'll give anything a try if it will work and let me stay at home.
