The Birth of Megan's Chest of Treasures
This was a case of one thing leads to another! Without working anymore, not being able to collect disability, too young for SS and needing the income we had lost, I decided to try to increase what I was doing with my Ebay. Also I had been tossing around the idea of opening up my own Party Planning business. Due to my hobbies, I'd learned to make favors, decorations, invitations, etc. I'd been decorating cakes for years. It was just a matter of taking a leap of faith! I also thought one could enhance the other and maybe I'd be able to make up the income I'd lost! Wish me luck!
I chose the name because "Megan" was an old nickname from my childhood that always brought happy memories. Chest of Treasures came from something my children said a long time ago. "Mom, you always manage to put wonderful things together from those boxes and chests of yours". (I was a collector even then!) Therefore, Chest of Treasures.
Besides which - Yes, I am Irish - and I wanted something that would bring me LUCK! Other than the Murphy Kind! LOL
