To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
I began creating studio buttons in 1997 after taking a class in beaded
buttons from Robin Atkins. I had been making evening purses for years but
the world of buttons was new to me. I enjoy creating beaded buttons
because it allows me to express a certain whimsy not seen in most of my
larger works. To me each button is like a perfect tiny world. I find the
process of creating buttons completely addictive--I have not been able to
stop making them! I am a member of the National
Button Society and if you are a member you
may have seen my ad in the NBS Bulletin or seen my work at the convention,
where I am represented by Beads & Beyond (Bohemian Buttons.) My buttons
have appeared on at least one winning tray that I know of. I've heard
rumors of others...
My original
creations were all beaded on colorful quilting fabrics over a metal frame.
Recently I began to create realistic
buttons. These are embroidered on ultrasuede.
