The Staff at MJ'S Consumer Solutions

MJ'S is a husband and wife team, created and operated by:

John and Michelle Meyer.

John Meyer:

I am a thankful and lucky man, married to Michelle. I am a stay at home father at this time, putting my energy into my children and the daily operations of MJ'S.

I am a former U.S. Marine, serving time on active duty and then the reserves. I went to Parris Island, SC for boot camp. I trained in the Marines to be an 0300 (Infantry), then had the opportunity to become a 7051 (Airport Rescue Firefighter). After my service was complete, I attended college on a part-time basis and worked as an airport firefighter at a general aviation airport. I later was accepted to paramedic training and became an MICU Paramedic. I worked for a local county hospital system after graduation. I worked full-time and part-time as a paramedic in two different hospital systems. During that time I also returned back to college part-time pursuing my physician's assistant degree. Everything changed for me and my family on March 10, 2005. I was working my full-time job, only an hour into the night shift and was involved in a motor vehicle accident, disabling me and hurting my partner. That day was the end of my paramedic & firefighter career. I sustained a fractured spine, spinal cord and nerve damage. This injury has severly limited my daily activities and abilities.

This is when I was turned onto Ebay and set my mind to starting up our own store.

Michelle Meyer:

 My beautiful wife, Michelle wears many hats. She is a wife, mother, college student, restaurant service trainer, caregiver to me, and all around fantastic person. Michelle and I have been married for over nine years and together for over eleven years. She is the mother of our two boys Christian and Gabriel.

Currently, Michelle is in the final stages of completing her degree in accounting and becoming a CPA. She is an alumni of James Madison University in Virginia, where she was studing music education. Michelle has over seven years of experience in the accounting and tax preparation field, with over four years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Michelle is working full-time as a service trainer, part-time as an accountant's assistant, a full-time college student and assists me with my medical needs. Despite a very busy schedule and two kids she made the honor roll, deans list, the presidents list and maintained a 4.0 GPA. Michelle assists me in the MJ'S operations by doing all the accounting work, mailing out all the packages (I can not drive anymore) and working together with me to find new products for listing.
