Hello, my name is Kelly. I would just like to tell you all a few things about us here at Mikels wool. we are a small sheep farm of 16. We raise shetland, coridale, romney and finn sheep. They are all a wonderful breed of sheep. WE DO NOT EAT OUR SHEEP. I do sell some of them. I use their wool for spinning and knitting. We have a store here at our farm in Wiscasset Maine. We are open to the public.
This we sell are. Sheep, lambs, raw wool, yarn's pun from our sheep. Slipper's, hats, mittens, scarves, sweater's, head warmer's,(band's) shawls, farm photo's, farm painting on slate plaques, sock's wash clothes, hand bag's, and purse's. Most of our yarn is spun hear at the farm by me, some get's sent out to a mill to be done if I get overwelmed. I dye some and also leave some the natural color that it is. My doughter's knit some thing's they are 10 and 12, and my son and husband help with the farm work. This is truly a family business. We all have our part. I enjoy the sheep, and the product's we get out of their wool. You can sheck out some of our product's if you would like.
