My name is Abbie and I am a 29 year old daycare supervisor. I was a stay at home mom for 5 years until August of 2006 when I finally went back to work at the local YMCA.
I have been crocheting for about 5 years now and in that time I have developed a few specialties that I enjoy making including booties, mittens, caps, and gowns. You can see some of my work in the slideshow below.
All the baby items I make will be shipped to my winning bidders with utmost care and consideration for their quality. I enclose all items shipped First Class in plastic baggies before I put them in the envelopes. I feel that this will protect them from moisture. All items shipped via Priority or Express Mail will be in a box and their shape will be maintained with tissue paper, in other words, not flattened.
I am a non-smoker and there is never any smoking allowed in my home. There is a cat in my household. For that reason, I do pay close attention not to leave items that are listed where my cat can come in contact with them. Generally I do not launder items before I send them due to potential detergent allergies, but if a request is made for me to do so I see no problem with that.
I enjoy experimenting with new colors and textures, so if there is an item you have in mind that I do not have listed, please don't hesitate to ask me about it. Send me Email!!
Please be patient while the filmstrip loads up.
Past buyers, I encourage you to sign my guestbook and include any personal experiences you've had with my business.

What's currently on my hook?

You may have noticed that I have not listed any items in quite some time. I have developed a ganglion cyst in the palm of my right hand and crocheting has become uncomfortable to me. I am still trying to crochet as much as possible, but I'm not able to work on a piece for more than a half hour. Because consistent work is really dependent on being able to finish a project in as few sittings as possible I've not been working on any of my booties. I'm going to see a hand specialist very soon and hopefully I'll be back to crocheting regularly very soon. Wish me luck!!
