The reason I sell on Ebay:
After 22 years in the healthcare industry, I was diagnosed in 2002 with A-typical Meniere's Disease and Disembarkment Syndrome. Although these diseases are not fatal, they certainly do change your life style. For those of you who don't know what those two things are: Meniere's is vertigo and the other is a constant feeling of a rocking motion. Only people who have these diseases can fully understand the challenges faced on a daily basis. I am usually home 24/7 so being able to post on Ebay is important to me. Ebay allows me to work within my restricted limitations.(not a lot of time on the computer) It is important to me to be active as much as possible and with Ebay, I can choose my own hours and take as many breaks as I need to in order to accomplish my goals.
You learn in life that each and every day is filled with blessings and to appreciate what you do have instead of what you don't, and to focus on what you are able to do and what you are not. A half full glass is better than a half empty one! :o) " A merry heart doeth like a good medicine."
About your seller
I live in Colorado Springs with my husband of 22 yrs, Robert and our "wannabe" Border Collie, Gracie. Throughout my diagnostic testing, diagnosis and treaments of Meniere's, (which have includes 2 failed surgeries, 3 cortizone shots through my eardrum, various medications and 2 years of vestibular therapy) my husband has been very supportive.
I love making quality jewelry that is unique and one of a kind pieces that fit everyone's budget. When I look at jewelry in all of the magazines and catalogs that I get, the prices are outrageous! Since I buy my materials at wholesale prices I am aware of the actual costs of making necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. That's one reason I love Ebay. It allows not only me, but so many people find what they are looking for at a fraction of the cost, if purchased else where. I am not only a seller, but a bargin shopper, and Ebay has just about anything that someone is looking for. One thing I have learned is that it's not always easy to break into the Ebay market to become a "power seller." I've tried selling several different things, but always things I'm passionate about. I just simply enjoy the challenge, and offer only top quality items.
For me, honesty is the best policy. When I post items, what you see and what I write about, is what you will get. If I say it's one of a kind, it is. Keeping prices reasonable is important to me also. I offer a 100% guarantee because I want my customers to be happy with their purchase. I look at it this way: if someone is not happy, it's an opportuntiy for improvement.
