I first began drawing at a very young age. I really wish I had some of it to show you 'cause it's hilarious!

I didn't know that it was really going to be a passion, or that I was even good at it, until a cousin dared me to draw a big goofy on my bedroom wall. I drew it in *gasp* sharpee...and amazingly, my mom didn't freak out about it. She actually went to the store and bought me paint!!

That started the whole ball rolling. I love drawing characters from Disney, and then an Uncle gave me a Brian Froud book, and I was hooked on Fairies! I love to draw anything with wings...fairies, angels, animals...that's my passion at the moment.

I took an art class in high school and one in college.  I was given a scholarship to go to CCS (College for Creative Studies) in Detroit, MI., but, turned it down to intern at Walt Disney World. 

My life got a little crazy after that with family illnesses and getting married and having my two wonderful boys, that I just never went back to school.

My husband's co-worker introduced me to the world of ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) and I have been hooked ever since!  Most of the art I've created recently have been ACEOs, but I have done some larger things, and really still love to "draw big."
