Agent MaryAnn & Artist Lynn - together during a California Art Tour

I'm just the agent here...MaryAnn by name.  I live in beautiful Southern California and most days you will find me working hard at my real estate career.  Since the real estate market out here is a little slower than normal at the moment,  I decided recently to take up the offer to agent for one of my best friends (and talented artist), Lynn Ruoff.  She loves to paint and create but hates to sell her own creations.  I am in awe of her work (which includes many diverse styles) and find it extremely easy to brag about her paintings and prints.  (My own home's decor could be described as "Early Ruoff" as I have many of her framed works throughout ~ and receive compliments on my choices all the time).   Outside of art and real estate, my passions are animals in general, horseback riding specifically (I keep bugging Lynn to create some horse paintings!), ice skating, the beach, and gardening.  I am on eBay only to sell art...original works, giclees, and numbered prints.  So now you know the agent behind the MLSart name.  Enough about me ... and more about Lynn Ruoff:

"Fairy Falls" - Everybody loves this one!!

     Currently residing in Texas with her charming husband Jim, artist Lynn Marinko Ruoff is a member of the Art League of Houston, and has displayed her work throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and has earned professional awards in juried art competitions in Texas, California, Florida, Louisiana, Kansas, and Canada.   She has been affiliated with the Village Artist's Touch Gallery in Houston, The Ariel Gallery & The Montserrat Gallery in New York City, The Chimerical Gregg Gallery in La Puente, California, and Bobby's Plaza Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Her work has been reviewed in Manhattan Arts Magazine and in the Houston Chronicle.

     Lynn holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree and has studied life drawing at the Simi Art Studio in Florence, Italy while attending Gonzaga University's studies abroad program.  Teaching experience led her to chair the Dominican College Art Department in years past. 

     Lithographs of Lynn's acrylic painting "Mother Earth" have been included in the United Nations' UNESCO "Hope and Optimism Portfolio", a collection of international artists' works assembled to benefit a UNESCO cultural center in Africa.  The Portfolio is permanently located in Oxford, England.
