Madigan's Books was established in 1985 and is a mail order book business that deals only in books of genealogical interest. The books we carry will vary from rare antiquarian books to used copies of books still in print. In addition to genealogy books we also provide books on CD.

Madigan's Books was established in 1985 by Matt Madigan and is a mail order book business that deals only in books of genealogical interest. The business is in addition to my full-time occupation as the division chair of Math /Science at a community college. The books we carry will vary from rare antiquarian books to used copies of books still in print. We usually have only one copy of a book in stock and we do not limit our stock to any one geographical area.

We also carry books on CD. We publish CDs of hard to find books relating to Illinois. We also carry over 2400 CDs produced by Archive CD books. They produce CDs relating to Ireland, England, Australia, Canada & US.

  • Plat books or atlases
  • City, county or farm directories (pre 1930)
  • WWI Honor Roll book
  • View books
  • Vital records (marriage, death, court, cemetery, census records)
  • any other book of genealogical interest
