I love making costumes and collecting fantasy figurines - like dragons and fairies.  But, sometimes I buy too many LOL. So I have to sell some of them occasionally. 

       I am starting to work from home - making SCA (medieval times) costumes and doing surveys.  That way I can be there when my kids and husband need me most. That is very important to me, especially since my husband has a heart condition or as he puts it "Geez! Have 1 heart attack and they hold it against you forever!" He's right in a way - his heart history does make me watch him more. In the picture of him on this page he is wearing the horseman's tunic he wanted me to make for his birthday.

            I make garb/costumes mostly for adults, but am branching out into children's garb now.  I have made some beautiful fighter doublets for my boys. Getting them to hold still for pictures is difficult sometimes though. LOL

      Now my youngest daughter, on the other hand, would live in her "princess dresses" if I let her.  But let's face it folks - velvet is not cheap!  She uses her short-sleeved cotton tunic dresses as nightgowns alot of the time during this summer weather. You can see my oldest daughter in the auction pictures for women's garb.  She is my model and, sadly, is preparing to move out on her own next spring.
