I am a quilt artist and the creator of Mock Pie Studio fiber art items.  I have had work in national shows including Small Wonders XII, Proverbial Challenge II, and The Quilter's Heritage Celebration.  I was the curator's choice winner in the applique division of the 2005 Hoffman Challenge.  I have had two pieces shown in Quilting Arts Magazine, participated in their Artist Trading Card Challenge which was featured on HGTV's Simply Quilts episode QLT-1120, and had a piece travel with them as a part of their Creative Self-Portait Challenge.  I have also participated in Virginia Spiegel's Fiberart For A Cause which has raised money to support the American Cancer Society.  I have shown work in local art exhibits and periodically teach sewing classes to children.  I currently hold a bachelor's degree in art and certification in K-12 art education.
