Mono Adventures is a partnership.

Luis Delgado Hurtado resides in Cuzco, PERU. Marie Samuel, French born, lives in New York City, USA. Luis handcarries the crafts from Peru to NYC.

In 1993, Luis and Marie co-founded the not-for-profit Yachay Wasi which is now a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

* Inka (usually written Inca)- the letter C does not exist in the Basic Alphabet of the Imperial Quechua endorsed by the late Daniel Estrada, Mayor of Cuzco, in 1990. Quechua was not a written language. Studies started after the Spanish invasion of 1532 AD.

Yachay Wasi means House of Learning in the Quechua language of the Inkas. Luis' first language is Quechua.
