A personal message from Celeste
Hello! Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about my artwork and me!
Painting is my passion one I did not realize I had until a few years ago. I returned to college as a non-traditional student to study Political Science. I took a heavy load my first semester and added a painting class just for fun. It was there I found "THE PASSION." Especially when I paint abstracts I feel a freaky Stephen Spielburg thingie!
Well from this point I had to figure out what to do with it all! I'll be the first to credit Greer for the inspiration to paint on handbags. Then Bonnie Lane to encourage me as a loyal customer and friend. I think many of the artists on ebay are terrific and I have watched so many people develope their talents. This is indeed an awesome tool. My work has been collected and sold world wide. Thank you ebay!
I enjoy communicating with you and having the opportunity to develope new relationships. My desire is to create an artistic platform built upon integrity and trust. If I can be used to bring beauty to the lives of others I will certainly welcome the opportunity to do so.
Many of the items I paint on are wonderful boutique finds others are retail items new with tags others without tags. I always purchase quality items and note any imperfections (or things you should know) in my listings. Usually my purchases are items I like or would use myself (if I could ever find the time!). I try to stay abreast of current trends. Yet a fashion plate I really am not. If you have special requests just let me know. My personal daily attire is usually overalls that have paint on them somewhere! Occasionally I will get out to a show, a workshop, or get to meet with clients. Yet find I am most in my element within my own studio or observing nature, animals, structures and even people incognito.(I always say that when I wear only lipstick and my shades, a hat and well of course those overalls I mentioned!)
Most recently I am working on canvas with a "Dog Creation" series. I usually work in acrylic but will use oils for comissioned assignments at the customers request. Another art form I am interested in is one I refer to as "Resurection Art" Using prints to recreate an orignal form of art. I have just recently added floral design to my portfolio. You will always find new and different items at my ebay auctions! I enjoy interior design and work with my clients at really every level. Be it creating a whole new environment or a design remix. I will shop for you and put it all together too! I am especially fascinated by faux finishes and murals.
Please keep in mind that all artwork you see on ebay are "Celeste Originals" UNIQUE items for UNIQUE individuals! The work is copywrited and should never be reproduced or copied in any form or fashion. Yet I am always happy to work with non-profits, just drop me a line!
Do not hesitate to ask for additional information or pictures on any of my listings. Lighting and many times even the time of day can alter the true essence of images.
Most of all I just want to thank all of you for supporting the arts!
