Grimm Curiosities is the home-based business of artist bela b. Grimm. Started in 2003 it was the dream of a little girl come true. As a child bela put on puppet shows, creating her first characters from found objects. She soon began teaching herself painting, sculpture, and beadwork. After years of practice bela finally decided to pursue a formal education, obtaining her BFA at 30, studying sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking.
b.b. Grimm's inspirations include childhood fairy tales, meditations, prefabricated and weather objects, other worldly visions, puppet plays, Dada, many talented artists and doll makers, plus her friends and family.
