By education I am a librarian (M.L.S.) Currently I am the Internet Trainer for the Bibliographical Center for Research (BCR). We are a regional library consortium serving all libraries in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Kansas, Iowa, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii.

E-mail will automatically (from PayPal) be sent to the high bidder after the close of the auction. If you are paying via PayPal, follow the instructions. If you wish to pay van another accepted method send me an e-mail requesting my address. The high bidder is to respond to the message within three days. If this response has not been received in time, negative feedback will be left and the item will be offered to the next highest bidder. Payment is to be received within seven business days after your reply unless other arangements have been made.
Domestic buyers pay a flat rate of $6.00 for USPS Priority shipping unless otherwise stated in the auction. If a lower shipping price is stated, I'll be shipping via Media Mail. (This means that some pay a little more, some a little less. There are no exceptions. I just don't have the time to weigh everything for everyone.) International shipping rates will be quoted giving the buyer a chance to decide on speed and cost but will be no less than $6.00. (I reserve the right to modify shipping charges if it was not clear you are and international customer based on your e-mail address.) PayPal, Money orders, cashiers checks, personal checks and cash in U.S. funds accepted. I reserve the right to hold any personal check for clearance before shipping any item. All items will be shipped within seven days (though usually much less)after payment is received or the check clears. (If shipping will take longer I will let you know.) I ship most of my items in boxes, not soft-mailers, so as to significantly reduce the change of in-transit damage. Insurance is extra and up to the buyer.
These rules give you a total of ten days to get payment to me. If you are bidding for someone else, and they fail to follow these instructions, it will reflect on you. I do not view travel as an excuse for a late response or a late payment. My job causes me to travel about 50% of the time and I still complete all transactions in a timely manner. If travel will cause you to miss either deadline, contact me in advance about the situtation or do not bid on the item. Look at my feedback, I am a reasonable person. If you stay in contact all should be fine.
A Special Note If You Are Bidding On A "To Be Autographed" Item:
Unless otherwise stated payment is due after the signing event. Do not send me payment before the event.
Regarding edition and condition of the book: I am a collector myself so I will do everything in my power to purchase a first edition, first printing for you in the best condition from the stock available at the event. (So far all but one has been a first and no one has yet to complain about the condition of one of my purchases.)
If you have requested a personalization I will do my best to follow your wishes, however the final decision is up to the author and not me. (My favorite one so far was when a buyer asked me to have Clive Cussler "write something clever" to which Mr. Cussler wrote "I'm too tired to be clever." So, be as creative as you want, authors are usually happy to oblige. Out of the dozens of these auctions I've done only three authors have failed to personalize.) All I can guarantee is that the book will be autographed. Personalization is not guaranteed.
