My Dream of Musthavs



I have dreamed of having my own store . . . It would be in my hometown, kind of a way to rejuvenate our small, failing historic downtown.  The front of the store would be painted a friendly pink and the sign above it would feature pink polka dots.  It would showcase dreamy decor styles featuring vintage treasures and it would be bustling with genuine people having the time of their life.  I would have a corner of my shop dedicated to photographing adults playing dress up and possibly a coffee and tea bar with scrumptious desserts.  People would drive long distances just to have a good old-fashioned time.  The store is called Musthavs.  You are witnessing my reality.  Okay, so I can't offer you a cup of coffee, but I can get you the cup.  I can't take photographs of you playing dress up, but I can find you the perfect hat or set of beads.  And maybe you can send me the photo!  

In addition to my love of vintage home decor, I have two degrees from Iowa State University.  GO CYCLONES!  They are in Apparel Design and Fashion Merchandising.  With my experience in these venues, you will absolutely see a great amount of wonderful clothing also offered at Musthavs.  After all, clothes are among true "Musthavs!"

June will mark three years from leaving my design job to be a Stay-at-home Mom.  Although designing my have been my passion, my beautiful girls are growing up too fast.  While at home, I still want to focus on my dreams, so I am maintaining my online store, Musthavs, with the fabulous support of my husband and family.  I offer my favorite vintage items, fabulous clothing, and add in a few things to clean out my overstuffed home!  I hope you can find something that you just "Musthav" and I look forward to sending it to you as fast as I can.  Please enjoy your visit and come back often.  I have genuinely adored meeting so many of you through my store.  Have fun looking around my online shop!
