Well, I've decided it's time to update my me page. The original page that I created when I first started selling on ebay is below. It's been 3 years since then and much has changed. I retired from my insurance company job and moved from Los Angeles to Alabama so that I could sell on eBay full time. I am still selling items from my grandparents estate an will be for awhile. I am also selling items that I purchase from local estate sales and auctions here in Alabama. Below are some pictures of "Where it all happens!" My eBay room.

JUMPING IN HEAD FIRST Hi! My name is Susann. My brother & I recently inherited my grandparent's estate. My father has always said that "They collected collections". The list of antiques & collectibles that I have already discovered I need to learn about includes: Dolls (China, Wax, Bisque, Tin, Comp., Plastic, etc.), Coins (Mostly US cents), Glass (Carnival, Milk, Depression, etc.), Quilts (my great grandmother and great aunt were tailor/dressmakers who did everything possible with a needle & thread), Retail Display Cases (my grandparents owned a small chain of department stores from the 1940's to the 1970's), Pens (We have only found a few so far, but I know there is a box somewhere) and who knows what else. I'm not going to rush to sell items until I know what I have, but so far I have found the people on ebay great at offering info on research and I'm loving being part of the community. |
