My name is Sherrie, and I am a 35 year old, married, stay at home mom. I have 3 sons, 16, 10, and 3. And they drive me crazy! I guess in a good way! I have learned how to fish, camp, hunt, ride dirtbikes, and paintball, all for the love of my men! I have been a 'stay at home' mom for 5 years now, and I wonder how I ever worked full time, picked up the boys, made dinner, cleaned house, and coordinated our lives without losing all my hair!! Staying home is just as tiring as working! There is never enough time! I have so much respect for ALL moms, working or not. We have the hardest job in the world! And then throw a HUSBAND into the mix!! Yikes!

And so you can understand my need for 'girl time'!! I savor it at nap time every day, (or in the middle of the night!), creating cards for my family and friends, and you! A great friend of mine got me hooked on rubber stamping and card making a little over 9 years ago, and I am still going strong! I will never have enough stuff, and I am running out of space! But that does not discourage me!
I started making my own gift sets of 'Thank You' notecards for friends and relatives baby showers, birthdays, and bridal parties about 5 years ago, and everyone who has received them has raved about the cards, and encouraged me to sell them. So, here I am, selling on ebay for a little over 2 years!!
I have confidence that people enjoy my unique creations. My 3x4 inch note cards are just the right size for a quick 'Thanks', and my square greeting cards give room for 'I love you' too!! I love making matchbook style cards, and unusual shapes and sizes also!
I buy quality products at craft and scrapbooking stores, from Stampin' Up! demonstrators, and from sellers on ebay too. I have such a variety of supplies, I just cannot name it all. From eyelets and brads to stacks and stacks of wonderful paper! Spools and spools of ribbon and thread, to jars and jars of embossing powders and glitter! I love stamping, and have a ton of rubber and acrylic stamps! I buy new supplies every week, (please don't tell my husband!).
I think- no, I KNOW- I am a card making junkie!!
I spend quite a bit of time on each card, making sure they are bright, cheerful and balanced with color, dimension, and texture. If they do not seem right, I sometimes stare at them for days, trying to figure out 'what else?'. The cards usually turn out better than I first imagine, which is always a plus!
