Welcome! I'm delighted you chose to visit me. The most important thing to know about me is that He reigns in my life. It's all about Him. I walk in His Light, I seek His approval. My goal is to be pleasing in His sight. Nothing else matters as much to me. "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation." Psalm 27:1 If you knew where He brought me from . . . . . I went to church growing up. An hour on Sunday morning and back to real life. I thought that you live, you die, you go to heaven. If you don't break the ten commandments, you're in. As an adult, I did things my way, counted on myself. I was a good person with a messed-up life. And I was empty, lonely. Nothing I found could fill that emptiness. A friend talked to me about "living for God." I had no idea what that meant. It was something that made me feel scared, like stepping off a cliff. But one night, in my desperation, I reached out. I told God that I needed Him to fix me and my life. I took a step towards Him in faith and was baptized in Jesus' name. He responded to my need. He filled me with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Oh, the joy unspeakable! The lightness I felt! The burdens, the guilt that I had carried so long, evaporated. Deliverance! Since that night, I have not smoked another cigarette (a habit I was bound by for 27 years!) I have not done drugs for recreation. My language has been cleaned up. I act differently now, only it's not an act. This change is as real as what happened to Saul on the road to Damascus in Acts 9:1-19. The Bible gives the account of the first time this experience ever happened to anyone in The Book of Acts 2:1-39. Read about it. It changed the lives of 120 people when God poured out of His Spirit upon them. It has changed my life forever. I have no desire to go back to my old life. It will change your life as well. Believe it! Ask God to show you the way. He responds to your need for Him. "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts 4:20. O Lord God, thou hast begun to show thy servant thy greatness and thy mighty hand; for what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do according to thy works and according to thy might? Deuteronomy 3:24
