I love this earth and talk to animals, insects and greet the essence of each one (even those that creep me out!). Just yesterday a fly was flying around my living room and in the past I would have let it bother me but instead I said ello little soul!and let it go on its merry way. What right have I got to swat the fly away? Im in its space as much as it is in mine.To me we are stewards of this earth, nothing is owned, not even the home I live in, the skin I wear, the clothes I buy, everything is temporary and eventually all passes to a new state of existence doesn it? So why not greet it all with a smile on my face and sunshine in my heart?Is it easy? Heck no, eons of conditioning, old patterns and habits to contend with. However, to me it the only way to exist. Discovering more about myself the light and the dark and learning to step back and see the bigger picture in it all.I could paint a picture of woe, I could paint a picture of stumbling blocks, challenges and mountains I climb in my life or talk about the joys and wonder of simply breathing on this Planet Earth.I listened to an Anthony Robbins CD not long ago and he spoke of a gentlemens definition of success he was a multi-millionaire and felt he was not a success if he had not accomplished XY and Z totally unobtainable ways to define who he is. I then heard another mans definition and this made me smile ny day above ground is a success in my eyes What a way to live!
So what are my interests? Well this year I am discovering more about who I am. Last year I learned how to belly dance and I do love it. I realise this year I have to get fit and learn to exercise and motivate myself even more physically. I intend to experience more dancing and expressing myself through my body. Its strange as its not something that comes easy to me (the dancing does, dancing in front of others doesn) and I am learning to overcome my inhibitions and truly follow that common saying ance like there is no-one watching Other than dance I love spending time with girlfriends and connecting. Sitting in a pavement cafwatching the world go buy with a nice cup of Mocha coffee. I love the sunshine, I love blue skies and more recently I love getting up really early! I used to grumble about getting out of bed early but for example this morning (when I wrote this) I got out of bed at 5.11am and put some drumming music on danced and then walked to my office. It is such a lovely time of day the world is really alive. Most are asleep but nature has already risen. The air seems cleaner and fresher and the birds are singing the most beautiful notes. And lastly, I love world music, I love the drum beat, the tribal energy of this amazing music I long to experience more and more of this tribal energy in my daily life.
I passed my environmental studies degree in 1999 with a 2:1
I travelled the length and breadth of Australia on my own the end of 1999 for 1 year and enjoyed sleeping under the stars in the outback, sitting around a campfire with a alamity janetype group leader. I walked in Tasmania, snorkelled the barrier reef, dodged cane toads after a heavy rain in the rainforest and watched many a kangaroo have a boxing match.
I was attuned to Reiki 1 in 2000, Reiki 2 in 2001 and my Reiki Masters in 2003.
I practised professional healing for 1 year in 2004.
I was initiated into Seichim/Sekhem 1&2 in 2002.
I moved to Gloucester from Newcastle upon Tyne in 2002 on my own.
I edited my local community magazine for 1 year in 2004
I met Mike, my best friend in 2003 and have been sharing a home with him since.
I worked in offices and retail for many years and now enjoy self employment and more change!
