Niceties are Necessities and Family is Gold I have always been self motivated and have been in the marketing business for the last five years and social work for 18 years prior to that. I had an 80 to 120 hour a week job in the home health care field and knew there must be another way. I started researching buying every book I could get my hands on and buying on eBay. I had absolutely wonderful experiences. I decided to leave my old job and devote my time to selling on eBay. I wanted to do this as a full time business so became licensed and created "Niceties, LLC". We started learning to sell the first week of June 2005 and by January we had already reached the first Power Seller level. I knew I was self motivated, had marketing skills, and a love for making programs work. My nemesis was lack of computer knowledge and photography. I started with some items I had been collecting and suddenly took a different turn as they say can happen. My children encouraged me to sell special occasion wear since I used to design their clothing and wedding veils. We just entered our 3rd year,became Gold Power Sellers, and just opened a Pro-Store. Our name evolved into Niceties By Judi due to buyers calling and asking if it was just that. It goes to show you that your kids and the community do know more than you do! We have grown and would like to introduce Kathy who has joined us with a world of technical expertise. She has been a tremendous asset to our business. Kathy was one of my buyers who has became my good friend. You may be seeing her responses on the emails. Our family has grown to include our huge eBay family and that is really what this is all about. I still have the mannequins, I call my big dolls, and am still working out of my home but we have reached out literally to the world and have met the most wonderful new friends one could ever imagine. I have no regrets giving up my career and sitting for hours in D.C. traffic commuting. This new career has been one of he most challenging and rewarding life experiences I have known.
