Hello!
My name is Katie and I live on an old dairy farm in Ohio. It is now a non-working farm. The house was built in 1896 and I fell in love with its charm instantly. We also have 10-12 outbuildings and barns, depending on how you count them. Everyone who visits us notices the peace and quiet above all else. Most of the sounds you here out here are tractors, dogs, and occasionally some children heard playing from across the field.
I have a hard-working husband and two children. My son is 25 and my daughter is 15. She is a Freshman this year, and a very good student. I'm very proud of both of my kids!
Members of our brood also include 2 dogs, Scrappy and Maggie. 3-5 cats, depending on how many strays show up any given day. I think word travels fast in the feline community that our cat food buffet is all-you-can-eat and always open! But we take care of all who happen onto our farm.
I make all my own crafts here on E-bay and am never low on inspiration. I dislike using patterns because my imagination and ability usually take me where I need to go. I am never happy unless I have several things on the go at any given time. I paint, I sew, I do whatever it takes to get the project completed. If there's something I can't do, my husband is talented and willing to help me with whatever I need him for. He welds for me, builds the wood projects I sometimes need (like the picture frames for my stitcheries) and wires my lighted items.
My daughter is my computer whiz and helped me with what little I know about HTML. She also is very talented in the craft department and has made several items with me to sell. We all have a great time working on my crafts.
The most important thing to me is that people are enjoying what I make, because I do put a lot of time and effort into my designs.
I am always open for special orders, so if you see something that might need tweaked or want something you don't see at all, ASK! I just might be able to help you out!
