El's Delightful Dollhouse Decor



   Hi, I am  crazy about vintage miniatures.  My home is filled with a 1/12 scale 1890's Victorian Dollhouse Village.  I have houses, a barn and carriage house combo, a general store, a fire house, a toy store, a bakery a candy store a millinary, a museum, and last but not least a church.  All in various stages of developement.  I use the word developement because anyone who builds doll houses knows they are never truly finished.  Amazingly enough, my husband is still speaking to me, and tolerates it all beautifully. 


     I have learned to love buying on ebay, but am still just starting to work on selling some of what I make, or discover in my hunting forays.  My goal is to have an ebay store carrying doll house furniture and accessories, as well as various other collectable items.   Much of what  I hope to sell will be my own creations.  I am always on the lookout for odd items to make things from.  I am striving to make my items high end looking but afordable.  I do have some art history, I have in past years, sold paintings, and been involved in all forms of arts and crafts, from sculpting to quilting.  My greatest problem is I want to do it all and there just isn't tiome enough to do  every  art and craft I love.  At least with miniatures, I can  make fimo food and flowers, embellished items, and furniture made from just about anything.  I don't know who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but they were wrong.  I have learned a lot of computer skills lately and am continuing to learn new stuff so I can get my things on ebay.  As soon as I learn how to download my pictures I will put some on!!!!!!!!  I seem to do a lot of praying lately!!!!!!!  So keep an eye open for my picturs and my sales.  Thanks for  taking the time to read  this.
