White Iguana Reptile Society
During the Summer of 2000. I started a brand new organization called the
White Iguana Reptile Society. It is a online network between reptile
rescuers, wildlife rehabilitators, organization leaders, veterinarians, living musuem representatives, SPCA/Humane Society representatives, nature center representatives, anyone who works with reptiles and amphibians and the world community. I created this organization to help bring both parties together. Those who are looking for a gentle, loving home to place their reptiles and/or amphibians in. Those who will give gentle, loving and proper care who are looking to adopt and/or foster a reptile and/or amphibian. Our goal is to bring both parties together to create a happy ending for all involved.
Membership to the White Iguana Reptile Society is FREE. We run strickly on donations or as we like to say, " Out of the kindness of people's hearts " Donations do not have to be in the form of money either. We will gladly accept reptile supplies. Which we can definately use. The cost of each item can leave a huge dent in our wallet.
Items that we can use are, aquariums, aquarium tops, cages, aquarium light fixtures with special reptile lights, filters, foods, water dishes, anything that will help out an abandoned, abused, injuried, neglected, sick, unloved and unwanted reptile. Any and ALL donations will be gladly accepted and will be greatly appreciated.
Membership to the White Iguana Reptile Society will eventually include a quarterly online newsletter and chats amoungst friends.
