So you know.......... A QUICK WORD ON WARRANTIES AND RETURNS vs TRUST Most of the materials I sell are to support my wings collecting habit. Sometimes I sell spare wings I have, sometimes I sell them for others. I always do my very best to describe what I see in front of me and I do not knowingly ever sell fakes, unless I state that its a fake or questionable. When I am selling odds and ends to raise funds for my collecting habit, I will never sell anything that is not working when it leaves me, unless I am stating that it is unknown or not working. That is my promise as a reputable seller.That said, I generally do not offer any warranty or returns on odds and ends or on wings. I am not a commercial operation. If I am selling something for someone else who wants to offer a warranty, I will state that. However, a warranty has a lifetime. My trading repuation is my warranty on the items which I sell for myself. I recently had someone ask me for a refund on something sold for a third party, two full years after the transaction. (Yes, REALLY!). That is the reason for adding this note. Obviously some people are not reasonable. I had always assumed that this individual (with whom I made several transactions)was an intelligent and sane person, but maybe I was wrong? I LOVE fair traders and I have had a LOT. I EXPECT feedback. I expect to GIVE it and I expect to GET it, so if that helps you nervous nelly's who hang onto your buyer's feedback, great! We all love to know both buyer and seller are happy at the end of the day. We all love to GET proper, fair feedback. We all like to be treated fairly. I will ALWAYS discuss things if I ever do get an unhappy buyer, (within REASONABLE time limits)so long as they respond to emails. LOOK at my feedback!! I have in the past made an effort to give FEEDBACK when I received payment, BUT I have found that many Ebayers simply never give return feedback once they have received theirs. So..........I will ALWAYS give GREAT FEEDBACK to my fair traders, but honestly I cannot see why I should boost your points and credit if you cannot remember to reciprocate. Its great to be part of something where people look out for others responsibly! So those of you who ARE responsible buyers will not mind if I give my glowing feedbacks AFTER I receive it, when you have received your item, fairly traded as always?? If anyone doesn't understand why I am taking this position for a while, please email me about it. I am happy to explain or discuss it. We all depend on fairness in this medium, but even those of us who go a very long way to be fair get fed up, if mistreated. Think about it, before we all get too lazy to give anyone any more feedback except negative grouchy stuff.
