My motto on eBay is " Keep it Fun" . I only sell items that I like myself; I do this for fun and try to make it a fun experience for my customers too. I try to accurately describe all items, but it is impossible to please everyone all the time; once in a while no matter how hard I try someone gets unhappy, but overall, the vast majority ( like 99 +++ %) of my customers love their items and leave me great feedback. I also occasionally buy for my own collection. I can do refunds if you feel I have not accurately described an item, but I cannot refund you for an item that got broken or lost in the mail if you do not buy the postal insurance. So I leave the insurance optional, but this is at buyers risk. I know shipping is expensive but think of all the gas you are saving by buying at home and not running all over the place to estate sales, auctions, and antique malls! ( and then half the time you don't find anything good anyway!) Please don't ask me for a refund for an item you paid $1 for... that is just ridiculous! You can always send me an email with additional questions or request more photos if you give me enough time to reply ( I can't guarantee to get you an answer on time if it is the last day of the auction). Let's all have fun on eBay!
I personally collect dolls, toys, teddy bears, and holiday items / children's vintage collectibles. My whole family enjoys collecting. Our house is a bit overflowing so I am trying to sift through and narrow down my 25 year collection. It takes a lot of time and hard work but it is fun. I am not able to find / buy as much as I used to so here is an opportunity for other collectors to pick up some fun stuff at reasonable prices. I usually don't do reserve auctions, so you might get a big bargain.
