Thanks for stopping in. Let me take a minute to introduce myself.
My name is Melissa and I am a hard working stay at home mom.
My husband and I share five girls and one boy ranging in ages from 4 all the way up to 21. We stay really busy!!
I began painting about 8 years ago as a way to relieve stress and unwind at the end of the day.
I purchased some brushes and painting books and got started.
It didn't take long for me to fall in LOVE with the art of decorative painting.
With practice, I developed my own style of painting, as all decorative painters do.
There is just something special about picking up that paint brush and creating each new piece.
I sometimes take a step back, amazed that I have been blessed with such a talent.
Most recently I have been painting Roses!! Lots and Lots of Roses.
And I just can't seem to stop...LOL! It took me years to create my roses.
I would practice over and over....not ever really satisfied with the end result.
Now I have finally found my own style rose and enjoy painting them in a variety of colors.
About 3 years ago I decided to start selling my items on eBay.
I am so glad that I did. I have been blessed with a very successful first few years. It has given me the opportunity to meet so many sweet people, both buyers and sellers.
It has allowed me to be a full time mom and contribute to the family income at the same time. For that I thank all of my wonderful customers!!
Before I discovered eBay, I would set up at several craft shows, paint murals in homes, and sell to friends and family.
I currently have some of my hand painted treasures in a store in downtown Winchester, Virginia.
My goal is to offer you a variety of items and designs to choose from.
I put a lot of care into designing each of my paintings.
I want each piece to be beautiful and unique in its own way.
I hope you will take some time to browse through my store.
