I have been a member of eBay for many, many moons, and have yet to fill out a page. Well -- here it is! I have been responsible for getting several people hooked on eBay, and I tend to do much, if not ALL, of my Christmas and other-occasion shopping here.
Currently, I am disabled and completely bedridden. If it weren't for my close friends and my loving Basset Hounds ("paws off the 'puter, Piper!") (*G*), I would surely go mad. I have no other family, but between lots of sloppy Basset kisses, lots of writing, and lots of eBay surfing, I am doing just fine! I have, thanks to a confused (or confusing) life, studied many subjects seriously, have had many jobs, and many "budding careers." I have spent most of my adult life in or amongst the "upper-crust" of the music business in Nashville. Now I am a professional freelance writer and part-time songwriter, AND I was just offered my very first complete book deal. (I am soooo nervous! I've written pieces and parts, and articles and stories, but never an entire book! First time for everything, though.) I have had two surgeries for Arnold-Chiari malformation; the first one was fine but the second one turned out to be both unnecessary AND nearly fatal. It has left me with neurological deficits and severe chronic intractable pain (Arachnoiditis to go with the Chronic Myofacial Pain, Fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disk Disease, TMJ Dysfunction, and now -- an Annular Tear at L5/S1 with complications and even more pain!) (there's more, but it's a long, boring list!). The back pain is currently NOT being treated, but we'll see what happens. Until then, I forge ahead!
